Likes
- Faculty, infrastructure are good. Apart from this we have cafes which are open till 5 am serving maggi sandwich and variety of options.
- The campus has ample of sports infra build to help you explore new intrest for a particular sports you always wanted to play but didn't have the facility. Trainers are also available.
Dislikes
- It's far from the main city so you need to plan your visits accordingly.
- You'll have sometimes a monotonous routine if you are not planning well your academic and other things.
Remarks :
No GD and WAT. Only PI was conducted. Initially your profile is selected based upon the CAT score and you recieve a call. Then final offer is given on the basis of how diverse your profile is. Score constitute of your PI and CAT score as well as your academic and professional background.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The fee hike as compared to last batch isn't that much. The ROI of the college was good at that time compared to other new IIMs. We have mid term, end terms and quizzes schedule well throughout the semester. Apart from the govt scholarship meritorious students recieve the scholarship too.
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for a marketing and sales internship for a edtech company. The project revolved around locating more places for them to build offline stores and increase the offline presence as well as help them in enetering new markets.
Placement Experience :
As such there's no eligibility criteria. Specific companies requirements are for engineers but that only constitute of about 10% of the job rest all are open for everyone. Delloite, Capgemini, Amazon, etc are the prominent recruiters.
Campus Life :
Karmanta is the annual fest which is conducted in Jan. Apart from the fest many cultural activities are conducted on the occasion of any festival. The library is open 24*7 with free tea and coffee service for late night students. Sports complex also has various facilities like gym, badminton, squash, volleyball etc. The college is student run. There are multiple club and comittee. As you join the college post your initial induction you'll be recruited in various CNC's.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
