FORE School of Management gives us the opportunity for dual specialization. Talking about the good aspects, FORE has an excellent set of faculty with corporate experience and education from top MBA institutes. The college is academically rigorous but the major drawback of FORE is its campus, which they don't have. Moreover, students are not much favored and helped by the academic (PGP) office as it is a separate unit, and facilities have no idea about PGP rules for students which is unfavorable for students. Talking about the admission process, the time when I appeared for, I had three rounds in total, first was the Quiz round where 3 questions were asked to each candidate, then extempore, and then finally PI. Just stay updated with current affairs increase your GK and prepare your answers well for obvious questions for PI, like introduction, strengths and weakness, etc.
I chose Finance and HR as my specializations as I had an interest in both sectors which I was able to experience even in a summer internship, I interned in the insurance sector(finance) as an HR intern. My skills in both sectors were enhanced. As I mentioned, the faculty here are well qualified, most of them with corporate experiences that are reflected in their teachings, many of them have done PhD and executive MBA from top MBA institutes, we are taught on digital boards and teachers share their presentations that makes it easy to understand and revise, so there's smart work and not hard work of reading books thoroughly to skim it, rather teachers have already shared the important concepts in the ppt. Exams were conducted almost every month, mid-term and end-term for each term. The toppers from each section are given a scholarship of? 1,00,000 and also given to needy students who give appropriate proofs for it. I am not sure about the hike policy but Ig, there is a hike in fees every year.
Yes, the college also provides campus placements for summer internships. The stipend varies from 1 lakhs to unpaid too. ITC, Deloitte, EY, ICICI Bank, etc come for summer internships. The roles come for almost all specializations, HR, Finance, marketing, etc, but for marketing students, it is a sales role.
Well, there are 100% placements for those who choose to be placed in college. There is flexibility for people who choose to opt out of the placement process. Students also get PPOs and the placement process starts in October the placement committee doesn't give up until all the students are placed. The recruiters that visit FORE's campus are, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HCL, ITC, Asian Paints, Darashaw, etc. The highest domestic package was 30LPA CTC( Fixed component is different) for the finance role. The only international placement was 70 lpa.
Honestly, there is no campus life. There is an open area that is the entrance at that space where we celebrate our official freshers, farewell, and our annual fest (Genesis), it is kinda fun somewhat but yes, no campus means limited time and fun. The fest happens in November. You will find a lot of books in the library, also there is a separate part of the Library for research work. Some committees conduct seminars and events, and that is the time we have fun somehow, the college also encourages participation in inter-college competitions, be it academic, extracurricular, or sports. As there is no campus, there is no college hostel, but they have done a tie-up with the IMI hostel for 1st year students, and then in the second year people either look for a Pg or a single flat in Adchini or Katwaria Sarai or a flat with their friends in Malviya Nagar.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
