- Infrastructure is good and the campus size is not too large like IIT nit but it is descent as per geography.
- The location of college is in Himalaya Shivalik range which give you access to travel nearby places.
Dislikes
- Remote location of the college make some difficult due to hilly region.
- Availability of hostels is very less in comparison of the students enrolled.
Remarks :
The college is situated in a remote location of Uttrakhand where you can take admission after taking the CUET exam and filling out the registration form on the college website. After the cut which is around 350 for CSE, 300 for IT, 250 for ECE, and 150 for ME & IE until the last merit list. After the cut-off, there is an online fee payment that you could get refunded, if you cancel your exam within a month after the payment document verification is done which will be on campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Because of the scope of Computer science and engineering, I have chosen this course, The faculty are PhD degree holders with some experience and some new faculties. Exams have moderate levels whereas midterms have once or twice in a semester in which the best marks are given and one final semester exam is there. Eligible students can get NSP, ONGC, and others but no scholarship is offered from the college.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet, but you college make sure to do one unpaid internship in 3rd year. Projects we will get in 3rd year which will be minor and in the fourth year we will have to do a major project.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities are not so good but the placement cell is trying to bring some companies and they did it well also by bringing some companies in 2024, I have no idea about the average package because it will take time to know about it. After getting my degree I will try for on or off-campus placement.
Campus Life :
There are some clubs which are run by students but not so active but have fest and all, also having sports ground, gym, etc. The library provides books and a hall for study. Almost all books are provided by the departmental library.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
