- College infrastructure is too good Gym cafeteria parks playground etc.
- Every teacher and faculty is cooperative and kind-hearted .
Dislikes
- Price of canteen is high and college is situated 20km from the main Chandigarh which is actually in panjab Mohali
- Engineering principle is so rude she is not cooperative with students
Remarks :
There is no any entrance test conducted by the college for admission any student can take direct admission and also take based on JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED marks. Students go to the website and enroll themselves.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because I want to become a software Engineer. Every teacher must have a master's degree in his field. Every month college organises monthly tests and University exams are held every 4-5 months. Every student has a different fee structure. Only national scholarships allowed
Internships Opportunities :
3-4 months back a company named Avon Electronic which is located in Derabassi in Panjab offered 20k-25k monthly salary for students. The company wants Java and C++ projects and complete knowledge of the field.
Placement Experience :
Which student wants to place it must be all clear in all subjects. Some companies like AVON Electronic offer 20k-25k monthly salary. Most of the students were placed in off-campus colleges providing placement of approximately zero.
Campus Life :
The college organized more events like Lamhe, Mosaic, sports events, etc. Colleges have their libraries any student can borrow books from the library. The college organizes every year sports events like cricket basketball volleyball kabaddi football etc. The computer science department has a WhatsApp group named the IGC Coding Club and the college organizes coding events like quizzes and technical rounds. The hostel is very good and it is affordable but sometimes the messy food is bad.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
