There are many factors that lead me to this college so to be honest the major factor is that I am a PCB student and I prepared for neet. In my 3rd and last attempt I got 585 and pharmacy is my plan B The admissions are completely merit based on your 12th class In Delhi this is the best clg of pharmacy And all over the course is also good but you need to study it properly
So my course is bachelor's in pharmacy which is a 4 year degree program in which you will get to know about different drugs personally I feel like any student who is interested in studying how drugs work on different disease rather than just studying body anatomy, should go for pharmacy course Overall faculty of this college is very good not just in academic instead they can be very supportive to their students so you just need to study properly and make them proud of you The faculty is always there to help you So in four years we have 8 semesters each semester have two sessional and one end sem exam conducted
Since I am in my first year I haven't opted for any internship yet but yes I am finding But my seniors who got internships are data analyst, assistant pharmacist and etc on their roles Many companies like Abbott, cipla, sun Pharma, mankind and others come for placements
Campus placements are nice There are internships for 3rd year students which is compulsory as you need to work for around 500 hrs as a hospital pharmacist Mostly masters students get better opportunities for placement but there are bachelor's students too who have good placements Maximum salary package is around 10 lpa Many big companies like sun pharma, cipla etc come for placements
Our college don't host fests but they do hava different events conducted in different occasions Every student have library access and you can study their personally Library is the best place I found in my college to relax and study The college campus is not that big we have a auditorium, one sports complex one Library and canteen Hostel is good too there are two seperate buildings for girls and boys hostel
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
