Remarks :
This is the top ranking 1 agriculture University situated in Pantnagar Uttarakhand. This university is having 7+ colleges in the university campus. There is one and only Veterinary College in the uttarakhand so this is the big opportunity for any student. There is written exam of the university for the selection ( Pantnagar Entrance exam) and other state students can get college via ICAR and NEET exam in various streams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Veterinary College is one of the best veterinary college in India . This course is of 5.5 years . 4th professional year is of 1.5 years. Total 16 main subjects are there and other then that other subjects are also there in total course duration. Faculty is enough for all the subjects. There are various scholarships available in University level as well as in state and national level.
Internships Opportunities :
I opted the internship in the Industry academia summit of the university, in which I selected for 2 companies and I got the opportunity for internship of 1 month offline with stipend 5k. There are several other opportunities avail in the university.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are good enough in the campus . Students are demand of the companies in the agricultural sector. We can also try for off campus. The job opportunities in the veterinary field is in growing phase so no need to worry.
Campus Life :
The campus life of Pantnagar is wonderful. We also called ourselves Pantnagarian. Infrastructure is well furnished approximately at every college. There is facilities of hospital, ambulance, banks , restaurants, shops in the campus. I am hosteler and hostel provides room single or with 1 share , electricity,fan, water cooler, mess with other essentials.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
