I sat for MHT CET counselling where due to my OMS status My JEE marks were considered in counselling. The cut-off for CS was around the 93 percentile for General OMS students I guess. Goods: Good Campus Great teaching staff Degree from Pune University Good Placements Has multiple MOUs signed with IIT B and a company like Virtusa Labs? Peer groups are great. In the technology part of Pune so a great number of opportunities to explore. Bad: Strict Attendance criteria and Assignment rules. No in-campus Hostel
The course curriculum is a bit outdated but changes are coming for good. Faculty are very helpful and supportive barring a few teachers who have a certain ego. Overall it's a lot better than others in the category
None till now, I am a second-year student who passed on some opportunities due to health issues. However many students got internships as soon as 3rd semester. My roommate did an internship at IBM for quantum computation
Placements are good keeping in mind the current recession, companies like Google and Microsoft also visit. For even core branches, ample companies come to the placement round. The highest Placement this year was in Microsoft as SDE of 53 LPA
Great and green campus. But the only problem is that the campus though being species needs to be shared with PGDM and Pharmacy and Architecture College. Else it's a fun campus with ample space to have fun and study
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
