No, there was no GD, Interview or Written Test during admissions. I got my admission on merit basis. I chose this college as it is one of the renowned colleges of Delhi University. It's infrastructure is good. This college has a hostel facility. Also, 50% of seats are reserved for sikh students. So, i got my seat with the help of sikh quota. Faculty of SGTB Khalsa College is too good. Teachers are very friendly here. Cuttoff for general category students is high in this college, but for sikh students, cuttoffs are average. For example, cuttoff for Bcom hons, for general category students could be 95%, whereas for sikh students, cuttoff would be 92 or 91%. There's a gurdwara Sahib in college, where religious events take place. Also, food of canteen is hygienic and tasty. There's a Nescafe near botanical garden of our college. Classrooms are very big, spacious and centralised AC's. Overall, SGTB Khalsa College is best.
I chose BA Programme in economics and mathematics. As we know the importance of studying economics is the impact it has on society. If you want to do work that will have real meaning in the world, then economics is the perfect choice for you. As an economist you will research economic issues, interpret and forecast market trends, and recommend solutions to economic threats. Also, it is one of the demanding courses nowadays. There are two semesters in a year. So for semester, we have to give exams. So, if your programme is for 3 Years. There will be total 6 semesters. The level of exam could be easy or moderate. Mostly questions come from previous year. Teachers here have a unique style of teaching. All teachers are highly qualified. For internals, college teachers give marks, and they help students to the most.
Many internships come to our college every year, with a decent stipend range. Some famous companies that provided internships to our students are Reslink, Flipkart, Financial Express etc. The highest stipend provided was approx 45k by a company. Roles such as executive manager/director, Human Resource Manager etc. Mostly roles offered were for Sales Manager. Overall, internships provided by the companies were good, with decent stipend range.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
