I GOT INTO THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE URS LOCALITY PLACEMENTS HERE WERE QUITE DECENT SO I DECIDED TO OPT FOR THIS COLLEGE. THERE WAS A COUNCELLING ROUND HELD FOR MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSION AND ONE CAN TAKE ADMISSION THROUGH JEE COUNCELLING AS WELL. HERE IS A GOOD CULTURE FOR CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT HELPS US FOR PREPARING PLACEMENTS. THERE IS JUST ONE PROBLEM HOSTEL MANAGEMENT IS NOT THAT GOOD.
Course Curriculum Overview :
THE COLLEGE FOLLOWS THE CURRICULUM PROVIDED BY UTU ( UTTRAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY), ACADEMICS ARE QUITE GOOD HERE AS REGULAR CLASSES ARE HELD MOREOVER ONE CAN TAKE EXTRA CLASSES TOO TO IMPROVE THE WEAK PARTS. IN ONE SEMISTER THERE ARE TWO MIDTERMS AND ONE SEMISTER EXAM WITH EASY TO MEDIUM DIFFICULTY. FEE HIKE IS NOT MORE THAN 10% THROUGHOUT THE COURSE.
Campus Life :
LIFE IS QUITE GOOD HERE CLOSE TO NATURE WITH VARIOUS HILL STATIONS NEARBY. CO- CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ARE ALSO HELD SUCH AS COMPETITIONS SKITS ETC. SPECTRUM ( FEST ) WAS HELD IN THE MONTH OF APRIL WHICH WAS AMAZING FOR THREE DAYS LONG. HOSTELS ARE AVAILABLE AT A VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE OF 28000/- FOR ONE SEMISTER AND ROOMS ARE GIVEN BASED ON MERIT WITH A CAPACITY OF 1-3.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
