One of the major factors in choosing Motilal evening college is my studies & my coaching. As it was an evening college our classes generally started at 3:30 p.m. & got over at 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. which helped me have plenty of time in the morning for my studies & also for my coaching which generally started at 9 in the morning. Also in comparison to other evening colleges, it had better reviews & also it is on the main south campus of Delhi University alongside different reputed colleges like Arsd, and Venky which gave me another reason to choose this college. Also at my time admission used to be done based on the 12th result but now the criteria have changed & the candidates have to pass CUET (common university entrance test )with 730 or above marks (for BCom (p) (gen caste) & it varies for the course to course & caste to caste ) to secure their admission in the college. Also, no such interviews or group rounds are there which candidates need to clear to secure their admission in the colleges.
I choose this course because I have interest in finance & banking sector. Speaking about our commerce department they have some very qualified professors who have done phd & doctorate in the finance field and have years of experience. Teaching method -is also decent most of them used to give us notes & ppts which helped us a lot. After every 4 months, we have our term exams & 1 year consists of 2 semesters in it. Exams- The difficulty level of exams is moderate it is not very hard. If you will frame your answers nicely you can score good marks in your exams. Fee hike - Fees get increased by 300-500 every year & you"ll get the cost around 27-28000rs for 3-4 years. Post metric scholarship for ObC Post metric scholarship for sc Merit-based scholarship for st/sc & obc. Also, I guess there is some scholarship for the news category.
Nope, I haven't opted for any internship through my college also in the past few years no such opportunities have been posted by the college for students because of COVID & various reasons I guess. But now they are trying & pacing up to bring various opportunities for the upcoming batch.
Since COVID, our placement cell has not been active so for the last few years, no such companies have visited our college campus. I had plans to pursue an MBA from a good college therefore I'll be preparing for the cat exam.
Fest - Milaan Our annual cultural fest which generally happens in April this year also it was conducted on 8-9th April. Also, Guri performed on our star night this year & we had a DJ night also. Library - Our library is one of the best libraries in du as it has more than 1 lakh books & more than 30-40 journals & newspapers for their students & teachers. Also, we have access to an online library which is there on our college website. Classrooms - We have normal big classrooms with big benches & podiums. some classes have AC in them. Not much to be expected. Sports - We have the best Football team at Delhi University. Apart from that, we have our basketball team. Also, every year the college conducts an Annual sports day for teachers & students & the winners get cash prizes for that. Clubs - Our college has various clubs for music, dance, drama, photography debate, etc. & also different study groups run by students on lg Hostel facility is not available in our college.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
