I chose this college because of the faculty and management of the college and first of all the best colleges for South Mumbaikers like Worli, Grant Road, Tardeo, and so on. College placement is also good I wanted to take a BAMMC course but unfortunately, I had taken bbi because for future profit. but I don't recommend taking regular BCOM from there or any colleges in Mumbai you can pursue self-courses like BMS Main option, BAF as second, BFM as third, BBI as fourth, and BAMMC fifth if you are confortable then you can also take a BSc IT.
The fees of this college are the best in South Mumbai everyone can pay. but semester exams are tough you have to study a lot. Except BAMMC course cause the BAMMC course is really easy but in other courses, maths is a really tough subject
I am already doing an internship at another company so next year I'll join it but I'm sharing my friend's internship experience he said to me the workload is very low first few days they train the intern how to do it and all he said to me was stipend also good according to work overall Internship opportunities I do well good in this college. You can also do an internship in a different field like you studying banking and insurance but I wanted to do event management so you can talk with the placement manager and he will arrange an event management interview and join you.
The best thing is colleges provide placement they take interviews and select the best student to do an internship don't take tension they ask very easy questions according to me everyone has been selected and the best placement in MBA and MMS courses has better placement companies with high salaries.
According to me, the best place is the canteen very huge space there man I never seen this big space canteen at South Mumbai College. College has proper hygiene and proper classroom AC and many more every classroom has projectors. Now they are gonna repair college in so it will more good.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
