- This college is all about experience and get higher education at an affordable prices. Because it's an hub for various students all across 50-60 villages. The infrastructure is small not advanced but it's like an heritage in the Town.
- Faculty is very good. They are very concerned about all the students. They help their students to excel well in every field. The ground is very well maintained.
Dislikes
- There are too many outsiders come in to the college which makes uncomfortable environment in the campus life.
- We have to get in very big line for applying reappear exam fees form cause only one faculty member is here at counter. Which is very 😞
Remarks :
One of the best quality education provided in the society. It's easy to get admission in the college. You just have to go to the Punjabi U website and aselect the course according to your preferences. fill out the form from a cyber cafe and then go to college for the prospectus form which is about 2000. It's great and govt go professor teach u every aspect of your course. It's a recommended college for middle class people for valuable higher education. Professor are well qualified and they get selected through government only. In this college students from 60more villages came here to pursue their higher education. Which is affiliated with Punjabi University Patiala.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BSc. Non-medical because I have a lot of interest in these subjects. Faculty members of the college are very humble and help each student to overcome any sort of problem. Term exams are as scheduled by the Punjabi University Patiala. Exam's are conducted in the college and they are very conceptual based
Placement Experience :
Placement from this college is a little bit of a worry because it's not that big college and very few companies come here for the requirements process. But these few companies are near the locality of so many students because from various villages students get admission in the college for higher education. The highest package from the college at my time was 7 lpa
Campus Life :
Youth Fest is held in September where you get a chance to showcase your talent at the University level various students group from all around Punjab compete here. And various tech fest organize at Science day. As we talk about the library there are a number of books available for every course and journals are also available in the college library. I have all types of amenities in my classroom for my experiments. Sports meets are also organised in the month of November. No hostel is not available in college. The canteen is small but they give u tea, snacks, samosa and pasta. I have rented a pg near to the college which was 200 mtrs just

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
