- hostel life here is great with minimal expenses

- faculty especially for mechanical is worst except some
- course needs to be updated and also some new machines needed to be installed
Remarks :
One of the best colleges in Maharashtra especially for core branches. Admission is based on CET merit. Excellent infrastructure. Good placement ratio for all branches also for mechanical engineering. Not-so-great faculty
Course Curriculum Overview :
excellent learning opportunities in core mechanical sectors. course curriculum not upgraded at all. Academics are not so hectic. daily you may have 2-4 lectures and a lab session. Scholarships are available just you have to research about it. faculty are worst, just some of them are nice.
Internships Opportunities :
not many internship opportunities are available for mechanical engineering. you can opt for off-campus internships and the college will support you with the exemption. placements are good but not good internship opportunities
Placement Experience :
you need to have a CGPA of more than 8 for eligibility for campus placement. Siemens, Atlas Copco, Schneider electric, and Whirlpool are some of tmajor co for more information you may go through the walchand college link-din page regarding placements. In mechanical engineering almost 80 % of students are placed. highest package ranges from 12 LPA and the lowest being 5 LPA.
Campus Life :
annual social gathering is the best. sports like football, cricket and basketball are actively played, and a lot of tournaments are carried out. technical and non-technical clubs are present such as M mesc, Team Aaryans, pace , Rotaract etc. The hostel is great not the building but the environment here. hostel is very much affordable but less space available

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
