It was the closest to my house and one of the most reputed colleges in my city. There was a minority test I wrote for admission to the college. The college has a beautiful campus and has very welcoming lecturers. I had to write the KRLMPCA exam which is for minority students for admission. Students prepare for this by studying the course syllabus and the exam was all within the syllabus.
I chose this course because it was very much in demand and has a good scope in the future. All the faculties be it the teaching or non-teaching are very welcoming and approachable. They are always ready to help the students when they are in need. All the teachers are qualified with a master's degree and are well educated and trained to teach the students. The students find it difficult during internals because we have two exams in a day for three days and it's difficult to focus on each subject since the syllabus is a lot. The college also provides us with details of all the scholarships available and the fees are a little higher than expected for the minority.
There are a few companies that offer internships in our college. Our college keeps updating us about all the available internships and platforms where we can learn and grow our skills. We are also having projects every semester where we have to learn about things other than our core subjects. This also increases our knowledge in other subjects other than our own. Although I haven't applied for an internship yet
The placements are not that good but students do get placed every year. The average package is less compared to other good colleges in the city and the companies that come to recruit are also not very good. The highest package is 48LPA and the average is about 5LPA. ( I am not very sure about the numbers). The percentage of students getting placed is also less compared to other colleges. Overall it's pretty average when it comes to placement
The college has a very beautiful campus and is surrounded by Greenery all around. There are trees everywhere which makes you feel fresh when u enter the campus. It's always cool and calm to be there. The college also has a lot of facilities available for the students like a library, hostel, etc.. the college also conducts different activities like sports day, traditional day, and other technical and non-technical competitions. It also has a lot of clubs cultural and non-cultural for the students to actively take part in extracurriculars as well like synergy, arc club, aicuf, and so on. The college also has its studio for music recordings and videos.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
