Likes
- Infrastructure is overall quite amazing and university has one of the largest library in any college in india
- I do like campus life. Our university provide scholarships to international students. There is diversity of students in the university
Dislikes
- Labs are not well maintained. Being a CS student our main work is in labs but they are poorly maintained
- There are no Air conditioners inside classes so this creates difficulties in summers
Remarks :
The very first factor is that its public private university and second is its near my house and thirdly placement recored and fee is very less as compared to other colleges and universities. Admission was totally based on Jee Mains
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is based on iit curriculum . But there are some subjects which should be taught earlier and mern stack should be added. A whole semester is of 6 months and exams took place twice in single semester (mid term and Final term)
Internships Opportunities :
I have done only one internship so far which i found on LinkedIn. Our college provide internship to students of 4th year and after that they may grt pre placement offer. Stipend totally varies company to company some may offer 10000 to 30000
Placement Experience :
Students with no backlogs are eligible for placements. From 2-3 years placements scenario is effected due to recession. Around only 30-40% students were able to crack placements. Very few company visited last year as compared to previous years. So hopping for best this year
Campus Life :
University Campus area is about 500 acres which is quite large. Whole university is well maintained. Many Fests occurs in single year and most famous one is Jashan which is competition between interdepartment of University about 20-30 departments competed wit h each other. There are many clubs and societies present in university and to become a member of them you must proceed with some interviews and referrals

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
