I took MHTCET entrance exam and I scored significant marks and I was allotted this college.I got AI and data science as my branch which is a booming industry. This college has good infrastructure, they a significant number of labs and a good faculty. There was no interviews as such as I got into this college through the exam and was merit based so just we needed sufficient document only on the day of admission.
I chose this course because AI and data science is a booming technology. We are also provided with an opportunity to select minor subjects. Scholarships are for Maharashtrian students and not for OMS.Fees is around 1,02,000 per year and Rs 1000 is the course registration fee per semester.Faculty is available for all the subject and are well qualified.

Dr DY Patil College, akurdi have a large campus that consists of lots of college and has a very large and beautiful garden. There are around 4 canteens . We have all kinds of labs and other facility. We have a cricket ground that is used for all kinds of sports.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
