Remarks :
The reason I chose this college was because i wanted to take up a career in teaching and if possible a career option in the field of advertising. I searched in various other universities but didn't find the one I was looking for. The ambience of the college is worth where it's located. There are certain ups and downs here as well like any other colleges. You can find one thing assured while studying at Marian, that is a ragging free environment. The seniors are very friendly and you can interact with them and become great friends. The education system is an outcome based education system where you get to put your ideas into the paper rather than just mug up the entire syllabus. We have industrial visits, outdoor classes and many fun-filled learning opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are developed on the basis of gaining an outcome. On the job training exposures etc are also being provided to students who are looking forward to have a career path set along with their education.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I had opted for an internship at stark communications , an advertisement agency in palarivattom, kochi. It's a company that deals with creating ads for well known companies and also provides experience for students who are looking forward to take up copy writing as a career path.
Placement Experience :
Marian college offers various placement opportunities from top rated companies and agencies. They also provide students with workshops on how they should work on their resume so that they get quick job opportunities at their doorstep.
Campus Life :
The college life at Marian is a mix of emotions. The plethora of facilities and student faculty engagement activities provide various opportunities for students to explore new areas of life. Management fest like Caligo, conducted by the MBA department is one among the most awaited programs that take place in the campus. The hostels are at times a little hard to deal with but are always there to provide for our needs. 3 hostels within the campus and 2 outside the campus in the neighbourhood areas.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
