Remarks :
This college is one of the top institutes for Marine engineering. As this college has good infrastructure and has the best faculty this was the reason why I chose this college. The admission process is very simple you have to take TMISAT which is an entrance exam followed by an interview. For this test basic of 12th is required and you have to have above 60 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and be good in English
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course which is Marine engineering offers a range of different subjects or fields we study mechanical, electrical, electronic, and some parts of coding. Overall it is like jack of all trades kind of course. Faculty here are some of the finest in the industry who have an Ocean of experience and they all are well qualified. We have 2 sem examinations in a year and as the college is affiliated with IMU the paper comes from them and it is of moderate difficulty The merit-based scholarship is given by the college every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship in this course is done at the end of the 4th year which is in the 8th sem this internship is based on the company you are placed in. Some companies will offer internships. Some companies will prefer college to complete an internship or college have Internship facilities and if not placed then we have to complete an internship in the college and can apply for a jab from outside.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good in our college it is almost 100% by the end of 4th year. Companies around the world come for recruitment. The placement process is a General amplitude test and interview. Companies like chevron, Stena, NYK, Scorpio, Goodwood, etc come here for recruitment.
Campus Life :
Not a very good campus life in my opinion. But yes we have many functions going on throughout the year. Horizon is the name of the college fest which is conducted every year. It consists of many functions games and a DJ until the end of 3 days. Books are available in the library which has many range of books from course books to novels we are free to issue any book. Sports and extracurricular activities are supported well to enhance the overall behavior of the cadets. The college consists of many active clubs which organize events and fun competitions. The hostel is good and will provide good food and the hostel is compulsory to study in this college.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
