- small college the size of college is quite small
- the college mostly focuses on academics and getting University toppers which makes them lack in co curricular activities... the result of which they are still naac A certified and not A+
Remarks :
The main factor that made me choose this college is that this is the best college in Ludhiana no other college stands nearby the competitors of this college are gods Chandigarh and other colleges of chd. The College is on the outskirts of the city making it a calm environment. The cutoff fluctuates near the 90s as the creme students of Ludhiana come to this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is trying to transition to new methods of study like there are smartboards in every class where you can access the internet and learn better.. however, the old method of writing assignments on sheets is there the exams are taken timely and the msts prepare you well for the main exams the college is very strict regarding the results the teachers are the best I can guarantee it they make study interesting and are very friendly and kind except 2-3 teachers ????
Internships Opportunities :
College provides internships to students who are interested in their 2nd year and those who are interested can apply for it ...but the internships are not that good you don't get stipends also last year one company was a scam which gave stipend only if you sell their insurance schemes to other
Placement Experience :
Placements according to me are ok. Students of my batch got placed for 25-30k p.m .. I think it is fair considering today's world as the value of just bcom is nothing...90 per cent of students pursue masters or l other professional courses the companies are normally located locally not unlike Deloitte jp morgan
Campus Life :
Campus life is alright for you to roam around College is only a canteen there is no ground r for sports earliest the ground they had...a new building has been made for other courses making that ground just a big garden or park ..the canteen is good... the library is filled with several books any book related to any topic can be found over there social groups and clubs are one thing that this college lacks. This college has a famous mettle business fest which happens around February and it is a very fun must-stay

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
