- Boys washroom need a cleanup and upgrade as it smells
- College computer lab computers needs upgrade because they work slow and lags
Remarks :
The good thing about getting admission to this college is that they don't force you to only study. They provide us with many more extra co-curricular activities. During admission, I was sure enough that I could do good in every aspect. The cut-off was also around 80-90% because I think half of the population of Jharkhand goes to this college for admission. During admission I have given viva to the selectors now it is both written and viva.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing this course was a great idea suggested by my parents. I was not sure if I'll be able to bring good marks in the subject but I think I'm very much good. The teaching staff consists of 7 teachers. 3 are professors for 2 core subjects and 4 are normal teachers for other elective and acce subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
I was allowed to go for an internship program that was offering 30000 per month and after the internship which will be around 45000. I rejected that offer because I was seeking something more and I knew I could do better and get a good package. It was a great opportunity for me to grab but I didn't want my studies to be affected by that.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement program run by the college but we have something very much good and better than placement. Why I'm saying better than the placement program because we have something different because you can get jobs in your sem 1 also. My personal experience - When I was in sem 1 I saw our teachers bringing 2-4 people who came to recruit us with a 30000 per month salary. I was shocked what is this for real I'm getting a job. For you to get that Job they prepared a test. After you clear your test you can join them for 6 month internship and after that, you get a job of 40000+ per month salary. The highest package that was offered to a student was around 12-15 lakhs per annum by a local company. I plan to study hard and get a good job before I get a degree.
Campus Life :
We don't need to worry about fests and programs because both students and teachers are willing to do fests. For every 2 months, we have a fest organized by students or by teachers. Campus Life - talking about campus Life I have never experienced such a beautiful thing so you have sitting areas, a gaming area, and a nice library for your preparations. Library - We have our Library of 2 floors full of every kind of book including standard 7-12 books to keep our base strong. Sports - we have 2 football grounds, 1 volleyball and basketball ground is under construction. Once a year there is an inter-college competition. Clubs- We have our Instagram page named @legends_of_gossner_college. The college's official website is designed by students and run by college officials. Canteen- Items provided by the canteen are breakfast items and lunch items at a very affordable price. The canteen also has its large shed to keep us in Direct sunlight.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
