- Campus greenery and its weather is very good and infrastructure is also well maintained.
Dislikes
- Office Staffs sometimes behave rude and some people are toxic in nature.
Remarks :
The placement and academic environment are overall decent. There is a healthy competitive environment that helps us to explore and grow. The bad aspect is that fees are very high and college leaves no opportunity to extract fees from students. Some Staff and faculty are rude and not cooperative. The admission process is that we have to qualify JEE Mains exam and according to the cutoff, seats are allowed in counseling. I prepared for the JEE mains exam through coaching and online classes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE because I had an interest in circuits and knowledge of core electronics. The faculty is overall good but some Faculty members are not up to the mark. The teaching method is overall good but we have to depend on other sources also. In one semester we have to give 2 quizzes of 10 marks, 1 midsem of 25 marks and endsem of 50 marks and difficulty level is good. Fees are increased for each new-coming batch, especially after COVID-19. GP Birla scholarship is provided by the institute based on the GPA of each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies for on-campus internships are not that many but there are some like TATA Steel, Infosys, Texas Instruments, Siemens, etc. Noncircuit aluminum students often opt for internships in industries like SAIL, BHEL, TATA steel, IOCL, NTPC, etc. Many opt for research internships on various projects related to VLSI, Microprocessors, software development, etc in institutes like IISC Bengaluru, ISRO, etc.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement are that there should be no active backlogs and companies set the criteria of cgpa accordingly. Names of some visited recruiters are Microsoft, Siemens, Texas Instruments, TATA Steel, etc. The highest package offered is 80lpa and the average package is 19lpa. The placement percentage is good overall almost 90 percent. I plan to get a job after getting the degree.
Campus Life :
There is one cultural fest that is Bitotsav held in February or March and one technical fest, Pantheon held in September or October. Books and journals are sufficiently available in the library on a wide range of topics and the classroom is well equipped. The sports facilities are good. Grounds and courts for Football, cricket, Volleyball, basketball, badminton etc are available. Many clubs are run by students like IEEE, IET, SRIJAN, ECESOC, etc. Hostel facilities are overall good but the mess is of medium level(not too good). Hostels are allowed at the time of admission and Hostel fees are 20k per semester and mess fees are 19k per semester.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
