Remarks :
The factor that made me choose this college is the best education facility and the professors here are very polite, helping hand and all. The criteria for admission is to crack CUET after the 12th. There are no bad aspects of college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because my interest is political science, I love to read political science and our faculty is too good because their method of teaching is very very good. The college issues a scholarship form every year to provide scholarships to students.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship now. I have no time to go to work. My study pressure is very high on me because I have to crack BPSC on my first attempt. So I couldn't opt for an internship
Placement Experience :
There are no campus placement and I'm pursuing political science so my further plan is to preparing BPSC after graduation and my preparation is going on from now itself. The percentage of students getting placement in campus is 0.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good, there are good environment, anti ragging squad to prevent ragging and friendly seniors who help a lot in many things. There are no hostel facilities by the college and there are sports rooms and a gym also.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
