Jee mains followed by jossa counselling is the only way to get in this college although you can get in btech biotechnology with your neet score. This college is ranked among the top 60 engineering colleges in India and the top 3 among the GFCIs. The greatest advantage is a good and widespread alumni network. Cutoff varies from branch to branch. With a safe rank of 150000(open), you can get into this college. The only problem with this college is the thigh fees and placement problems in lower branches.
The main reason for me to choose this course was my rank and also because I had seen placement opportunities in other branches. Chemical Engineering has always in the core of my interests. The faculty is decent. The course curriculum is very hectic with 2 quizzes, mid-semester and end sem in just 4 months. Then you get breaks (winter and summer ). By the way, you will find sufficient time to develop other skills. Fees are high, but you can get education loans very easily. You can also get a GP Birla scholarship depending on your performance in the semester exams.
Internship companies visits the campus in 3 third year. There is a placement cell which helps you to get internship. The stipend varies from 10000 to 120000 per month depending on your skills and work. Clubs will help you learn skills and get placements or internship opportunities.
Placements are nice. The average placement of our college is about 1100000. For circuital branches, it is about 1600000. Almost every company visits the campus including Microsoft and Amazon. The highest package was about 84 lpa. 90 per cent of students get placed. Rest either opt for higher studies or government exam preparation.
Campus Life is good. You have food corners everywhere spread on the campus. We have 2 big fests. BITOTSAV which is our cultural fest hed around March and Pantheon which is our technical fest around October. With this, there are also other events every month. You will find almost every club as per your interest. The library is quite good and is well equipped with books but there is a reservation policy in the books i.e SC st gets a book issued for a longer time than general category students. NSS is also on the campus. All the hostels are not updated with modern infrastructure but is quite good. You will have to live in a shared room for the first 2-3 years on campus. Bit has a lush green campus spread over 780 acres. Also, there is a sports complex and cricket oval for students. A gym facility is also there. The gym is not that large but is equipped with sufficient equipment.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
