- We have really good Amphitheatre in our campus. Our campus has really good green environment. We also have well experienced and qualified lecturers.
- We have a lot of technical and non-technical clubs that teach us a lot about social life, community service etc.
Dislikes
- The college does not permit to access the to sports facilities during the college hours.
- There is also nothing much happening inside the campus on regular basis.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college were recommendations from a few seniors of that college also since I wanted to continue my education in Mangalore this college was one of the best colleges in Mangalore. To get admission to this college I had to go through the KRLMPCA exam which is only for catholic students and so through this, I got admission into this college. The syllabus for this exam was the same as the KCET exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the CSE stream because of my interest in coding and web development. The course curriculum is always up to date so that students can be work-ready. Since our college is Autonomous the curriculum is updated whenever required. We have a term exam every 3 to 3.5 months and the difficulty of this exam is based on a student's preparation. The cost of study has increased a lot, particularly for the CSE stream.
Internships Opportunities :
I have currently not undergone any internships but as of what I have heard from my seniors there are a lot of companies that offer internships to students with stipends. Most of the students do internships as a web developer and are required to do specified tasks told by the company.
Placement Experience :
The placements are kind of not in a good position due to the recession going on in the market. Companies such as TCS, Cohesity, Accenture, etc. visit our college to place our students in their companies with really good packages. The highest package is around 22lpa and the average package is around 5 lpa. Around 60% to 70% of students are getting placed with good packages. I plan to continue with my master's after finishing UG.
Campus Life :
Tiara is the fest that is conducted in our college in every odd Sem or particularly around March or April of the year. Campus life is really good due to the green environment around campus. We have a lot of clubs inside our college that help students in learning different extracurricular skills. Our college also has a big library where we can find a lot of subject-related books so that students can get a better knowledge of that subject. We also have really good sports facilities in our college and students with talents in sports are always encouraged. We also have our studio which can accessed by students as well.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
