- Experienced faculty members with good knowledge
- Less crowded campus because of only science college

- Fests and events aren't there as expected from a Delhi university college
- New Principal is not supportive for college and students
Remarks :
Only science college, easy admission on the basis of CUET UG EXAM. No interviews or group discussions. College is of applied sciences only, so relevant courses to industry. The college has good infrastructure and faculty, however, management and principals are poor in behavior.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Food technology has great scope in the food industry and agricultural sector, which is a good job opportunity in the future. Faculties are well qualified and experienced. Semester exams are held. Fees is nominal good labs are provided.
Internships Opportunities :
Almost little to no intership opportunities are provided by college. Teachers try to push you into useless projects for their own benefit but no relevant intership for industry is provided from college.
Placement Experience :
Almost no placement from college. Either search for jobs on your own or go for higher studies. Average package offered is 2.5lpa But only 1-2 students out of 50-60 gets placed from college. Placement cell is not active.
Campus Life :
Not so good college campus life. There are no hostels in colleges so stay for external students is a task. College fests are poor and nothing interesting is there. Very basic extracurricular activities. Canteen is almost like non existent. Library is a bit okay.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
