Jnu is the best university in India for international studies, IR school has nearly 145 professors that are nowhere in India. Most of the faculty is post doctorate, and the education Jnu provides is better than at US universities, seminars, foreign languages, presentations, and term papers are key areas which are focused upon.
I chose it because of the faculty of the university and it's an r university .jnu has worl faculty nothing that can compete with Jnu in India mainly in IR,faculties are mainly postdoc or phds. secondly, the method of teaching and course is in relati to updated world courses. A huge focus is given to student involvement. Every student provided a hostel facility cost of study nearly 1000 rupees for a year along with world facilities.
no, I did not opt for any internship however jnu provides an ample amount of opportunities to do internships in collaboration with government institutions and private companies they have a regular and smoothly run system in this regard so don't worry about just being part of it.
on-campus placements are open companies regularely visits the campus and the students in my school students mainly hired bu foreign embassies mainly for international affairs secondly in media houses a lot of students hired along with it a lot of people have an interest in teaching they join it and about other schools I don't have much information
There are se school fests, not university level but these are good kuch focus on studies. I think you have the biggest university library in India its central library could have 5-6 lakh books, a classroom e with world-class facilities .along with it we just acting and drama clubs, clubs, poetry clubs, sports clubs etc. hostel is affordable just have to 100 rupee fee hostel .food is ok not that good but we also have other options to explore. South Delhi (Vasant Kunj) is a near by area overall its amazing place to be in.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
