I always wanted to learn a foreign language. Jnu was always the best in terms of this criteria. I have taken an entrance exam to gain admission to Jnu’s language course. It was an online test. No interviews or discussions.
We have six semesters in the bachelor's. There are french, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, etc languages. Faculties are well trained. Scholarship is also given to students who meet certain criteria fixed by the university. Most of the faculty have their doctorate in their respective languages.
I have not opted for any internship as the university does not help in this. They offer us optional courses so that we can get some extra knowledge around the world. Hence for an internship, we have to go out and look for it.
There is a jnu placement cell in jnu itself, which works for the placement of the students. It is working well. Various Mncs do come there. When I get the degree I will go to the placement cell and I will prepare myself accordingly.
The campus life is amazing. There are 19 hostels on the campus. Dhabas stadium, convention center, auditoriums, teslas, student community center, etc. There is a grand 9-floor library with a treasure of books. The sitting capacity is mind-blowing. Ac halls are there. Extracurricular activities do happen in the schools. I live in Godavari hostel only for girls. Various sports meets are organized on the campus.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
