Remarks :

To get admission to this college you have to give an entrance exam called NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test). The cut-off of the college varies yearly. When I got admission it was 525 marks for the open category. The admission process of the college is very smooth and much less time-consuming. The office staff makes sure that the student does not have any issues while getting admission whether he/she is with their parents or even not. The entrance exam is a bit tough but if you get good marks the admission is secured. The college is very renowned in the field of dentistry and takes your academic game a level above. The college also has various cultural events and sports events one of the main highlights is 'Harmony' and 'Dental Premier League'.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is according to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The curriculum is good and one can learn a lot through it. It has a good distribution of Practical and theoretical knowledge. The faculties of our college have a minimum M.D.S (Master of Dental Surgery) and they also undergo training to optimally teach students and get the best of them. They are very friendly and approachable. Quite helpful and make sure that students are aware of all the opportunities in the field of dentistry as well as out of it. Students are provided with various scholarships by the government itself but there are additional scholarships like the TATA scholarship. The college fees are very minimal as well as the hostel fees. The tuition fee is about 98000 and the hostel fee is 5000 per year. Yes, that's the cost of living in "South Bombay" that this college provides.

Internships Opportunities :

The summer internship program provided by the university and the college itself allows getting out of your comfort zone and prepares you for the real world. Otherwise, you can opt for an internship under renowned doctors with their clinical setup.

Placement Experience :

After the completion of the 4-year academic course, students have to compulsorily undergo an internship where they have to learn about patients, hospital management, dental camps, etc. The college has nearly a daily patient flow of 1000-1500 patients which provides a great opportunity for hands-on patient practice. But no placement is offered as this is a medical course but you can opt for CAchip in the college itself. Mainly students opt for higher studies or dental setup after college. Where you can earn a hefty amount depending on your skills.

Campus Life :

The campus is very limited due to space crunch in Mumbai and as the college is situated in the heart of Mumbai city. But the campus has 2-3 canteens, a gymnasium, a volleyball court, etc and the events going on through the year are not that great as compared to other private colleges but they are good. The food quality of the mess is okayish not that great. But you get a variety of cuisines in the canteen. The college has a library which is fully Air Conditioned and has a lot of books by Indian as well as international authors. Not just in Academics but in different genres too. There are various clubs such as the Rotaract Club of Bombay which you can join through the college.

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
