I scored average on the CUET exam so I opted for every college that has a Bsc CS Hons course. After the 2nd round, I got this college checking the records and present reviews I decided to take admission to this. There was no interview for the admission process.
After I completed my school I developed some interest in coding and then started learning from YouTube which led me to choose this course. The teaching faculty is decent too, most of them have done their PhD. Every 2-3 months after the new session students would have to give class tests and then in the next 2 weeks practicals. On completing them students will get 2 weeks of preparation leave for the written exams and the difficulty is moderate they just need to solve prev. Year and make some notes. As this course is not funded by the govt. So the fee is comparatively higher than the other courses ranging between 56000-60000.
I haven't opted for any internship yet. But during the placement cell event, many of my friends got internship on their first go and during the event most of the internships were for Bcom students sales and marketing weren't much for CS so I recommend going for off-campus placements
I don't know much about the placement but the eligibility criteria are to have at least a 7.5 CGPA to sit for interviews. Some of the companies that visited our college are KPMG, TCS, Yamaha, Delloite, etc. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs per annum, don't know much about the highest one. 70-80% of students get placed if their skills are good enough. I would recommend the incoming students to go for higher studies after the completion of this course.
Tide is the annual fest of ARSD which is held in March, this fest is 3 days long consisting of competitions, cultural performances, and much more. If you want books from the library you can get them easily with your ID card they have almost every book and if you want to study on screens they have got e library too. The college provides various sports for its students such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. Societies are active throughout the year and if you want to engage in hard training activities then there is no better place than NCC. The college has Happy Club and AVBP group to help students in need during the examination time by providing previous year ques papers and books. Food quality is average it is better to go to Satya Niketan and eat there prices are almost the same but you will notice the quality difference. PG students can contact people in Satya as well.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
