Remarks :
First of all the beauty of this college located in the mountains of Garhwal region makes the place mesmerizing. The infrastructure as well as the research work of this college is great. This college is famous for any type of course but is mainly famous for pharmacy and engineering. Faculty members are friendly and supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen the course as it provides enormous career opportunities as well as for getting knowledge about various chemicals used in the pharmaceutical industry. Faculty are well qualified and supportive. The teaching method is based on practical and logical explanations. Exams are at the end of the semester. Scholarships are rarely available in this college. However, u can get some basic funds like poor boys' funds,etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am currently in my second year of college so till now I have not opted for any internships in any kind of industry. Yeah, there are various companies situated in Haridwar and Himachal Pradesh that offer internships to our college students.
Placement Experience :
Placements are less in our university. The placement cell is working to get the maximum number of students placed in big companies this year. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs per annum and the minimum is 3 lakhs per annum
Campus Life :
Campus life is great. There are a lot of cultural activities organised throughout the year such as rudraksha fest, Ananta fest, Himalayan Fest etc. There are well-maintained libraries containing various types of books and journals. Sports activities are organised by different clubs throughout the year. Some social groups like Instagram and facebook groups are formed. Hostel accommodation and food are average.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
