MAIMS is affiliated with ipu with 151 NIRF ranking. T has good transport connectivity, quite a good campus area with a canteen auditorium and BB courts and ground. the College has air-conditioned classrooms. the locality of the college is not quite exciting and the college timetable is very lengthy. As it is affiliated with IPU the admission process follows the same with 3 normal rounds with options of colleges affiliated to IPU but you must be choosy for a college with less and quality full options like VIPs maims and MSIT. other than these 3 rounds there are sliding, spot and special spot rounds (for cuet and clat both). for admission, one must have 12 th pass with 50% from a renowned board and have sat for a class in the same year for admission. you must fall around 2000 or above in rank for admission in Maims as outside Delhi students have only 25 per cent of seats. I was very choosy for college as I knew that if I got worse college would affect my blog life.
as this college is one of the finest college indelhi for law and law is interesting for me as i like to debate read and imply facts. teachers have litigation experience with many of them having phd. age of teachers is btw 28 to 60 in college provides both experience and enthusiasm. teaching methods are fine with regular interactions with students. there is 2 sem in a year with sem exams and external or final exams every semester. the college has a fee of 120000 for 5 years excluding 60k of one-time university fees. scholarships are given to top-class ranking students of the college also college has a man quota for admission.
cyril Marchand mangaldas, Sagar associates, karanjawala & co. , L&L partners are firms which provide summer internships and placement for a college students by college. One should start an internship for the district court an them move on top by hierarchy.
placement in law at this college is quite good with almost 60% placement but we as law students don't go for j we head up to litigation, judiciary, civil services, teaching and then the corporate sector in Ballb. the highest package for Ballb is 12 lpa with a roi in 1 year itself and an average of 5 to 6 lpa. I will appear for civil services or litigation.
campus life is fine with canteens, football ground bb court auditorium and much more. books can be issued from the library separately for law students, book banks can be issued from the library too. Colleges have sports competitions on the university level with dancing singing and theatre societies also have legal and moot court societies and placement cells. hostel is available for boys inside the campus and for girls pg outside the campus but is too expensive and hard to get. I will refer flats and pgs which are just across the road from college in pocket 6,5,4 of sec 22 but it is not a too exciting place like malls etc are least 15 min far away.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
