- The campus is the best which I like about my college .if I fell low I witness the beauty of the campus and it makes me feel light .
- Faculty is friendly and very cooperative but sometimes boring and trouble as well .
Dislikes
- One thing I dislike here is that there is not great facility for pure and hygienic drinking water
- Also the hostel food is the worst of all .
Remarks :
The plus points of choosing Kalinga University, Raipur is that in comparison with other private universities in Raipur, CG, Kalinga charges in total lesser amount, and the campus it holds is just the best in Raipur for sure. For admission in Kalinga, one needs to appear for KALSEE which is the online entrance exam that is quite easy and just for the sake of the process. You will easily get admitted here and you will soon be provided very friendly counsellors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum overall is fine . Faculties are also fine some are super kind and friendly some are quite tolerable. Talking about scholarships and fees if one has coed excellent marks in the 12th board then Kalinga provides great scholarships like for me I achieved a 100% scholarship with a 5000 cash price. The fees they charge are fine but also one should know that these colleges try to charge money from anywhere they can if you have low attendance, various no of seminars and programs, etc. one needs to be careful about that.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not opt for any internship programmes and also there are not many such programmes for BA courses. But yes the faculty surely provides you various opportunities to work in internship programmes with great companies and govt. As well.
Placement Experience :
The placement and jobs as far as I have noticed are less and negligible, especially for Bachelor of Arts. So if one is looking for placement they better not opt here. I am looking forward to give competitive exam so that is fine with me.
Campus Life :
Kalinga University is known for its green and eco-friendly campus. The campus is the most amazing thing here for sure. Regarding social interaction, one can easily interact with others as it hosts various seminars, competitions, programs, etc. also here we are accompanied by foreign students so yeah that interaction is quite interesting. The infrastructure is fine. They do have a large library which is quite pleasing. The classes are not air conditioned. They have fans and coolers for summer but all the coolers do not work Efficiently. The hostel of Kalinga is okayish type the infrastructure is fine but the food they provide in a mess is a huge mess so the hostel becomes a total negative.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
