The meta college concept of Cluster Innovation Centre was the main magnetising feature for me to choose this college. Marks of the CUET exams are considered for admission. If you are anywhere near 650 (out of 800), you are good to go. Documents asked for will be the same as required for the CUET examination with some other basic documentation.
The Course BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences is an interesting one as it is the umbrella term that offers all the other subjects to be pursued simultaneously ( For Ex- Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, History, etc). The meta college concept being a cherry on top provides a glittering opportunity to experience exposure so rich that it is nowhere else to be found. So, the subjects in the department are really good and wide-ranging, plus you get the benefit of pursuing another subject in any other college you opt for. Faculty members are some of the most experienced individuals present on the campus, for a change guest faculties are welcomed too. There are several scholarships to apply for based on family income. The fee is minimal and as per other government institutions which again could be retrieved through scholarship. Now, the faculty's amazing experience brings about a great teaching and learning ecosystem that is primarily based on practical knowledge over theory.
There are numerous internships available like the VCIS internship, the DU Admission Branch internship, etc. The internships provide the needed work experience and skills which in future will adorn the overall experience gained.
Placement is neither good nor bad. The Alumni always have good feedback for the placement. Even if not placed students can always look out for reputed companies who are willing to offer jobs to individuals from such resourceful institutions. Also, an additional research degree added to the course has made it much more valuable.
The ambience and the infrastructure are excellent and the most updated. There are always cons to pros but the ratio here is dominated by pros. One of the major cons is that campus life is not what you think it is. It is different from other colleges as the number of students is limited. But eventually, it becomes more of a family kind rather than just being random students. There was no such fest being conducted previously but recently it witnessed the first ever fest 'FIZA' which has been planned to commence in the initial months of every year. The library is small but endowed with good reads and materials. Amenities like the water cooler, charging ports on each desk, air conditioning, etc are available and are far better than any other college. Sports tournaments are held too, teams participate in the tournament organized by the University of Delhi. There are no societies currently, except for a stagnant film society. The official website of CIC is a good source for updates.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
