At the time of my admission, there was only one college in the entire Delhi University that provided the Btech course so I chose this college the college has good infrastructure and great faculty I got admission to this by CUET exam and I took three subjects exams General Test, Maths, English and the cutoff is around 550+ out of 650 and differ for the different category.
I chose this course because it is a unique course that has an attractive syllabus gives good knowledge of the industry world and provides more experience. faculty are very good each has good knowledge and has great experience in their respective fields they are very supportive. the exam is per semester and the difficulty level is average.
The college does not provide any placement as there is not any placement cell because the college does not believe in getting a job they make the student ready to take jobs or do research forward if you need to get placement you need to apply off-campus.
The fee is 40000 per year and there are no specific tuition fees others are all included in it. there is no difference in fees of category all have to pay the same fee and there is no specific scholarship provided by the college the program run by Delhi university and by the govt is available not the role of the college.
The fest in the college is Convoke which is held in November and there is a huge campus library with around 90000 books are available you get many books from their their is no sports activity held their are some societies like the robotic society which are doing work related to the robotics.
There is no personal hostel provided by the college there is a university hostel that is not on campus and there are many fewer seats only 4-5 students get the hostel so you have to live in PG and pay for it hostel infrastructure is not there.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
