- What i like about the college is it’s Campus which is no doubt very beautiful and vibrant, college life is good and event ful, faculties are good, some are exceptional some are below average, i like the opportunity this place provides
- The curriculum is interesting, The course in itself is interesting with research and analytical work on law and arts subjects
Dislikes
- The Faculty could have been better, some faculties are indifferent they do not care to make the students understand rather they will go on completing the syllabus, there are some faculties like that
- Since the college is new I won’t complain much, but the administration is not very active, you have to place an active and aware role if you have to get your work done
Remarks :
The factors which made me choose this college were first of all the location, it is in Delhi, for law students to do internships, which helps. 2nd factor would be the flexibility it provides since the curriculum is not at all hectic, one can manage time for other things so if someone is willing to prepare for some exams or do internships, and learn some skills- you will get a decent amount of time, the third factor will be of attendance, they say that 75% is necessary but the other way works too, an affidavit can settle all these necessary pre-qualifications, to be honest. Coming to the most important thing - admission, it is done based on CLAT (common law admission test) scores and there is 75% reservation for delhi domicile students, there is caste reservation as notified by the central government, as a general candidate you should be having a rank between 1500-2000 to get admission here(in that score you get an NLU also) I did self preparation but coaching helps & sell
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I want to do judiciary so an LLB degree helps, apart from this you can do litigation, go into corporate sphere, be an academician, go for civil services examinations etc the faculties here are decent and well qualified, they are the alumni of prestigious institutions so no doubt thoughts on their qualifications though sometimes PhD scholars teach us when the professors are busy elsewhere, the quality of education is good, they put efforts and a sincere student can learn a lot, at the end it depends on the students and their discipline. Coming to the examination there are - internals and externals, external is an extension descriptive exam which is 75 marks (now 60 marks) and internals for 25 marks (now 40) which is composed of PSDA, Attendance, class performance and internal written assessment. There is a continuous fee per upcoming batch, for the 2021 batch it was 60k, for the 22 batch 100k, for the 23 batch 150k and so on.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internships under district courts and under the honourable Delhi High Court, as I said the name of this college is a plus point you get an internship under a district court and even under the high court, I learnt about basic litigation practices and procedural law of justice, basically the internships you will be getting in 1st or 2nd year will be unpaid but highly informative and skillfull for you, you will get paid internships from 3rd year once you hone those skills, during initial years of internship you will get to do some manual works of managing the files, delivering it to different advocates, writing applications for a copy of evidence etc
Placement Experience :
People from this college do fairly well, people are placed in tier 1 firms and all the best places since the college is in Delhi, it provides all the opportunities of the capital city for connections and interactions, People usually go for off-campus placements and there are alumni in tier 1 law firms like AZB partners, Trilegal, Khaitan and co etc the image of the college is prestigious in the eyes of judges and advocates so you get an easy internship, even if you don’t go for placements you can do litigation at the same place, can do LLM and PhD and be a professor, can go for the judiciary.
Campus Life :
College life is so dynamic and vibrant here since most of the crowd is from Delhi you can feel the zeal and energy of it, college is indulged in carrying on different fest and seminars, daily there are some events of distinct disciplines, extra co-curricular activities like - legal aid cell, village outreach program, nukkad natak, free legal aid to poor people, all programs, there is an annual 3-day fest Anoogoonj, attended by more than 50k people is famous in Delhi, law fest is also held and for other courses, there are different fest so you can attend all of these, life will be fun, there are mostly all types of clubs in general for dance, drama, arbitration, moot, writing, researching, debating, entrepreneurship etc. coming to the hostels selected students get it, outside Delhi students are preferred, hostel fee is 75k rs for the first year and then 60k for rest 4 years, you get single rooms in a hostel with all the basic facilities life is good in the hostel.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
