- Somaiya has one of the best infrastructure and campus in whole mumbai and maharashtra. From sports grounds, to canteen, to nakshatra bhavan everything in somaiya is just perfect. you won't find any college with such beautiful infrastructure and best campus life.
Remarks :
I completed my junior college in this college itself so rather than experimenting with different colleges and faculty I chose to go with this university as I knew that the faculty is cooperative. The admission process is very easy everything is online and easy so every student finds it easy. For the course I did no entrance exam is required it just requires your 12th %. The cut-off is low for the Gujrati minority otherwise it's a bit high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Every faculty member here has completed their master's and PhD. Every teacher has their teaching method and a very simple teaching method. They teach the curriculum in such an easy way you don't need any classes or extra something to understand. Their notes and attending the lectures are enough for you to score well in your exams. The exams are held for 6 months Sem 1 and Sem 2. The difficultly level is a bit high but if you study it isn't that hard.
Placement Experience :
The internship is given to 2 or 3 students only who score well. Campus placement for BSC BCOM students is next to nothing. Very few recruiters visit KJ Somaiya science and Commerce and very few students are given in.
Campus Life :
Somaiya is a College which is known for its fests. Fests start from October to November and continue till March or April. Every department has its fest. Every college has its library it has almost every required book for every course and subject. Every sport has its place there are 2 basketball courts 1 athletic ground, 1 football court, badminton court, squash court, yoga room, judo room, cricket ground, table tennis table swimming pool. Club React and many more clubs are been run by students of every department and these clubs also organize fests every year. Hostel food is very hygienic and healthy and the menu changes every week. There are 2 messes in the college which even other students can access even if they are not hostel student.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
