Likes
- I really like the faculty for my course, all of the teachers are experienced and teach practically.
- Societies is a plus point joining RAQS the street play society gave me exposure and chance to connects to the students of other colleges. Listening to my friends all have had a great experience in their respective societies and clubs.
- Safety and security- as it is a girls college proper security and safety is there even in the fests there is checking so that no student is harmed.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is the thing that i don't like that much, like if donot see the labs the college is really in a poor condition the gardens, grounds are fine but some rooms are not that good.
- Sanitation, like most of the DU colleges Kalindi has very bad washrooms, without any cleanliness.
Remarks :
There were no types of interviews or written tests for this specific college but I took CUET 2022 and after scoring a good total in the CUET I got this college for a B.Sc. For this specific course considering it to be a girl's college it is pretty good, in total there are 20-22 colleges for CS hons. This stands at 8-9 so this college is nice to see the aspects of education and professors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Got admitted in 2022 when the NEP curriculum, the whole course has all the required subjects with some new subjects introduced like Numerical optimization, but as this was a new subject we had the best teachers to make everyone understand in-depth and give practical knowledge by sharing ppts and showing the coding during the classes only.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an internship at Digifuse as a Marketing intern. The task was to get the app downloads and reviews on Google. I got a stipend of? 1500 as it was performance-based. Being a first-year student it was difficult to clear any internship with no experience so considering this as an opportunity I opted for this.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell, Kryptus, which posts regularly new opportunities for students. There are internship fairs organised once in 4-to 5 months in which the students from all years can apply... each company brings the requirements and students apply accordingly. I got an internship at Digifuse as a marketing intern. There are around 30-35 companies who visit our college. One of my seniors got placement in Accenture at a package of 7lakhs with the training. There were recent openings from Zomato. Delliote also has an eye and conducts tests for the students in which the passed ones can go forward with the recruitment process. After I get my degree even I want to get placed in a good IT company to use all the knowledge and experience I got in this college.
Campus Life :
Talking about the campus, the infrastructure is really old and not up to the mark. Being a girl's college and as it is with almost all DU colleges the sanitation is not good. The classes are okay like manageable. But the labs are really good they are properly furnished with proper curtains, ACs, smart board, a big area and a total of 3 labs with new lab chairs and all the computers are functioning and we have noticed that there is a set engineer who checks all the computers regularly. If someone is choosing CS hons. Then they will not be disappointed. There are clubs and academic societies with communities like discipline, internal, etc. Every department has a society, the club are active like street play (raqs) club, dance club (nupur-solo& group), fashionista for fashion, Rangoli, Mehndi, Paint and Brush, drummers club. The college has everything for everyone and gives equal opportunity to all.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
