The Admission takes place solely on the basis of your CLAT Score. If one has a CLAT rank around 1200-1800, one can get admission at MNLU-N. However, there is this batch of Adjudication and justice started by Hon'ble former CJI Mr. Bobde for which admission takes place through interviews taken by judges of the Bombay High Court usually.
Faculties here are world-class they are highly qualified and have their type of pedagogy and they are always ready to help you anytime after classes. Like one can visit faculty chambers anytime after classes they are always up to help students. About fee hikes, there is a 10 percent hike each year. For Scholarship, all the scholarships which are state and central run are applied also additionally on a merit and need basis college provides for its scholarship Ram Jethmalani scholarship and MNLU Nagpur merit and need scholarship
Students usually look after the internships themselves although there is an Internship Coordination Committee of the college that offers you a few internships at reputable law firms where the university has reserved slots for its students exclusively.
As it is still a budding NLU there are not much of placements here although given the fact that it was established in 2014 it has done quite good where recently one of the students was offered a placement as associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. So yes it is still developing.
Campus Life is filled with fun and laughter. There are 2 cultural festivals named Sanskarotsav and Lawkriti and one sports fest named Sportacus. If I talk of amenities there is this well-equipped library with all the latest editions and journals. There are few student-run clubs like Drama Club. For the hostel, the infra is nice with a gym inside it, where each room is double sharing having 2 beds, curtains, dustbin, 1 cloth stand, 2 cupboards, 2 study tables, and 4 almirahs. There is this mess nearby that offers decent food.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
