- The faculties here are really friendly and they don't feel like they are our teachers they feel like they are our friends . Faculties here helps me with everything and they also helped me in getting internship as well.
- The campus life of the college is really good . I've got some really good and cool friends for life . The campus is situated between malviya nagar and chirag Delhi . There are malls like Dlf and select City walk to hangout with friends and hauz khas village.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is very old and it hasn't been repaired for the ages however it gives a old school college type vibes but still the building is very old and the college also don't have ACs for the students.
- One of the major problem of the college is the water scarcity for the students, the water cooler machine. Students have to buy water sometimes as the drinking water runs out . It was very tough during the summer times .
Remarks :
This is the only college in the Delhi University which offers vocational courses. I've had to appear for the cuet exam to be admitted to the college. Students can get admission by scoring several 600 + in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is good, we get to know about how the tourism industry works and various tourism activities and how it runs. The faculties here are really good and helpful they are like friends here. Students and also opt for the scholarship here and the total fee for the 1 academic year is 13k.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did an internship with the Sotc holidays and it was really good. My teachers in the college referred me to the company for the internship and it was a good experience I got to learn many new things. There are many internship opportunities offered by the faculties of the college however it is better to search for an internship on your own.
Placement Experience :
The college offers placement in various companies and the faculties here also help the student to get internships as well. Various companies visit the college for the placement and the student who scores well gets the placement.
Campus Life :
The campus of the college is good and it is developing to date. The buildings here are one of the oldest buildings but it gives a good college vibe to experience. The college is also very famous for its cultural wing with a college club of dance singing and others.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
