Remarks :

My college is close to my house, this also had much influence over choosing this college. One can get into DYPIEMR by giving MHT-CET(PCM) or JEE Mains. The cutoff for AiDs was around 93 percentile for the General category and 95 for CS. There are no interview rounds to get into the college it's just the CET or JEE scores that matter. My college has a lush green campus with 3-4 canteens but it has almost 8-9 colleges, but that's not a big issue. As AiDs is a new course the course curriculum is pretty much updated. The college has 4 libraries which are open from 10 am to 8 pm on college days. The college has many clubs which have many activities going around the year starting from singing, dancing, acting, theatre, debate, communication, motorsports, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As the AiDs course is new in college and university as well, the course curriculum is pretty updated. There are 5 exams each semester with 2 vivas, 1 in-sem, 1 End-Sem, 1 Prelim, and 2 Unit tests. There is compulsory attendance of 75% in college which is to be maintained to get the hall ticket. The College has a fee of around 104000 per year for general students. But if you are a category student then you have great concessions in fees. OBC/VJ/NT-61000 per year and SC/ST- 5000-20000 per year. The college faculty are good in their respective fields. Most have a master's degree or are PhD holders and have 5-20 years of teaching experience. Teachers are available for interaction for almost complete college hours.

Internships Opportunities :

I have not opted for any internship as I am currently in the 2nd year. However, there are many paid internship opportunities in the college. Some of them are free but few of them are paid. One of the seniors got a 1 Lakh internship in Amazon in his 3rd year. Tech and Nontech both students have good internship opportunities outside the college as Pune is an IT hub so there are many small-scale and Huge companies in the area.

Placement Experience :

The placements are pretty good in the college. Last year almost 81% of students got placed. The average package for tech branches is around 4.5 LPA and the highest package was offered by Amazon for 45 LPA. Many companies visit the college like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, ZS Associates, etc. Students can apply for placements from the start of the 7th semester itself. Many companies have a criteria of 7.5-8 CGPA in the last semester. I plan to get a good campus placement after my graduation in Pune or Mumbai.

Campus Life :

The campus life is pretty chill in the college. The students can do whatever they like on the campus. The infrastructure is also good. Parking is a bit of issue as you sometimes have to park the vehicle far from the college building. There are many clubs in the college like culture, motorsports, communication, astronomy, entrepreneurship, etc. The college has a cultural fest and a tech fest. The cultural fest is called Nakshatra. The event is pretty grand and it goes on for almost 3-4 days in February. The fest also holds sports activities in it. The tech fest is called techno-fiesta and is held after the cultural fest in March itself. The college doesn't have its hostel but there are many good hostels around the area as the area has 2-3 colleges around it.

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
