Bit Mesra was a well-known college(GFTI Government Funded Technical Institute) in North India. One of my relatives had already studied in it and received a good campus placement in Mahendra Motors. Also, the placement stats in the past year were good, especially in circuital branches like CSE, ECE, and EE. The college takes admission based on our JEE MAINS ranks through the Jos counselling. Once the counselling is over you need to go to the college for the admission process.
I choose ECE(Electronic and Communication Engineering ) because it offers me core knowledge and also allows me to go towards the software side. The faculty of the college are good except for some who ha some anger issues. They are well Qualified with a Doctorate or post-doctorate degree from good Institutes like IITs and NITs. In my course, there are two semesters in a year the is a midsemester exam(25 marks) and an End semester exam (50 marks) and two quizs (each of 10 marks ) for each subject respectively. The college Fees are fairly on the higher side approx. 1.3 lakh per semester and it increases by 10 percent per year. For financial assistance, there are various loans available in the college itself that gives student loans and there is a tuition fee waiver offered to the top 1 percent CGPA holders
Various eligibility criteria for the placement are performed by the companies. There is a CGPA criteria of 7 or 7.5 for most of the companies. Some companies also does only allow circuital branch students for the placement.
The Campus life is pretty good as the campus is pretty vast and all the facilities are available on the campus itself like food stalls and other shops. The college also offers you with all types of clubs for cultural growth. There are two major fests in the college Bitotsav with is the cultural fest and Pantheon which is the Tech Fest. The library of the Institute is pretty big and there are all types of books available in it (educational and Journals ). The college also has a big sports complex with 2 football grounds, 3 basketball grounds, 2 volleyball grounds and sports equ can easily be issued on student roll no. The mess facility is also pretty good and it varies from hostel to hostel, The class and labs are well-equipped with all kinds of equipment required.

I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
