No, we are not provided with any internship in our college. One has to work on oneself and find an internship. Teachers can help you you ask for any recommendations but only graduate students can get internships with again very low stipend.
Well, we do have placement cells but it is kind of no use, as only a few companies come for placement drives like Godrej, Asian paints, etc and only a few students with excellent academics get selected with low CTC. One has to work on them and find an internship on one own. I plan to continue my further studies by enrolling in a master's program or appearing for any competitive exams.
There is no doubt, that D.A.V. has a unique infrastructure with eye-catching ramps. The crowd of D.A.V is very vibrant and unique consisting of students from their neighboring states like Himachal etc. We have a Karvaan fest which is held around March where many Punjabi, Haryanvi, and Himachali singers perform. There are a lot of societies and clubs where one can get themselves enrolled and interact with people of different courses together working for one goal. Cricket is one the famous sports of our college and where our college has never left a stone unturned, has won many tournaments at state and many more levels. The library is not up to the market, there is still a need for improvements as most of the books are old and are not in use.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
