- Campus is full of trees and plants that I like most about the college.
- Computer labs are good with simple computers that can run any programming task
Dislikes
- Building is very old . And furniture in classroom is not very good
- Bathroom of college are not very good and clean. Sometimes they run out of water
Remarks :
It was easier to travel from my home that's why I chose it. For admissions, there are no criteria Anybody can be admitted. A person only needs a 12th mark sheet 10th Marksheet and ID proofs. Admission fees are of 10000 which will be included in the year fees of BCA which is 55000. There are scholarships for SC/ST candidates. And also for students with 80 per cent if they apply for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B. C. A. Is an easy computer science course and as this college is affiliated with Panjab University you can check the syllabus there. Teachers are fairly qualified some of them also have PhD in their particular teaching subject. One semester is 6 months long and there are two exams the mid-semester test and the semester test. Mid-semester tests carry only 5 marks for the final result and the end semester carries mostly marks.
Internships Opportunities :
No, currently I have not opted for any internship. And there are no internship opportunities available at this college. Students can join internships on their behalf and might get a good internship.
Placement Experience :
No, there are no campus placement opportunities at this college. No companies come to college that offer campus opportunities. And there is no internship policy by the college for students. That's very sad for poor students.
Campus Life :
There are some social activities in college such as painting competitions, youth festivals, sports events twice a year, and many other great events. But there are no social groups or clubs that are run by students. There are many books present in the library for students. And the library is fully air-condi. There is a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, table tennis table, badminton court, cricket ground, football ground, etc.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
