- Free Wi-Fi should be provided inside campus.
- Social life network should be improved by conducting fests, events, hackathons, intercollege/college competitions.
- Groupism exists between students of different states.
Remarks :
I choose this college because of the placement opportunities, good transportation awesome infrastructure and mostly course affordability. I have not encountered any interview, entrance test or group discussion dating back to 2021. But in 2024 college introduced the DRIEMS University Entrance Test(DRUET) for B. Tech engineering admission, which is a good initiative.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is cost-effective, providing strong local Industries tie-ups. Course curriculum may not be fully aligned with industry needs, but it is suitable for further study and research. Faculties are well-qualified having good subject knowledge in their respective field. They are helpful and deliver good-quality teaching. Semester-wise exams are conducted with 2 internals and one sessional. The semester exams are relatively easy with a pass percentage of above 85%. In my opinion, the exam questions should be more challenging to make students more competitive. Funding, scholarships and financial assistance should be improved.
Internships Opportunities :
Colleges provide very less internships alerts for students which is not so much helpful to them. Students go for internship opportunities from various online resources and LinkedIn with the help of college mates and seniors. For offline internships and training generally, students opt for Tata Steel's local branches and training centres like CTTC, Bhubaneswar. Yet I have done an online Internship from Coincent on web development and a master course on AI and prompt engineering by Jatan Saha, Skill Nation.
Placement Experience :
There are no strict eligibility criteria for placement but you have to secure at least a 7.5 CGPA. Several leading service-based companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bourtec etc. have hired from this college with average packages of 3.6 lakhs ranging from 2.4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is around 50%. Placement in other branches is also good. Overall placement in CSE is best.
Campus Life :
The campus is big and green. Well-managed classrooms and a library are available. The college provides opportunities for multiple sports and games. The gym is exclusively for boys. The college canteen and cafeteria are attractive with good food quality. Hostel and medical facilities are available both for boys and girls. Unfortunately, events, fests, coding hackathons, entrepreneurship cells, and clubs are not available in college. Additionally, the social life and connectivity between different branches could be improved.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
