I chose this college because my elder sibling and some of my cousins also graduated from this college and their experience was very good. As everyone knows DU North Campus has some of the best ranked colleges and it's best for b.com courses and also eco hons. There was no GD or Interview but I gave an entrance exam (CUET). Good marks in CUET can secure you a place in DU North Campus.
B.com hons. is one of the best courses offered at Delhi University with an updated syllabus. Here you will get a good and competitive environment to excel in life. The faculty of SGTB Khalsa College is quite good. Every teacher is friendly and you can ask any academic related doubt to them.
The Placement Cell of SGTB Khalsa College has a website called POD on which they provide you with many internship opportunities you just have to register on that portal. You can also apply for internships from Internshala and can also try cold-emailing companies you like. But remember if you see cold e-mail as an option start trying 3-4 months before you plan to get any internship as you have to send many emails per day and it's a long process.
Placements are quite good in our college. If you have good skills, internships, and a nice build resume you can be easily hired by good companies. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and EY India come to recruit. The placement cells of each college try to achieve the target of 100% placements but it's not so some people do not take placements because of the low package offered and some even do not get jobs. To be eligible for placements you need to have at least one internship whether NGO or any paid internship and you also should not have any live backlogs.
North Campus has the best campus life it's loaded with fests and many society events throughout the year. The Annual Fests in DU are from November to March different for each college. Talking about infra SGTB Khalsa College has very nice infrastructure as compared to the other North Campus Colleges. The college provides hostel facilities but I did not opt for a hostel so I can't tell you much about that.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
