There are no interviews or written tests for admission. According to their cut-off list students get admission. I got admission through management quota because I scored less percentage. You can get admission through a lower caste quota also.
I am a bit interested in coding but that's not the actual reason. I want to do digital marketing and for that learning IT is best. In this college, about IT department faculties are best. The teachers are a bit strict but they're so helpful. Two semesters are conducted in a year. As this is an autonomous college, you can get question banks but they set the paper quite difficult. They have government scholarship schemes if anyone wants they can submit the papers in the office.
In our college, about 90 % percent of students got placed in the biggest companies. This is one of the remarkable aspects of the college. The package offered by the companies begins at 1,00,000 Lacs per month to 10,00,000 Lacs. The main top companies recruiting companies like Reliance, TCS, tata, godrej, etc. About 80 percent of students got internships from our course mostly from Tcs.
Events have already started in July. Model Vismayam is a big event where students can develop their ideas and make their events. Fests saree days, and mismatch days are conducted in December-January. There is a Gymkhana on the top floor where we can participate in games or we can just go play carrom chess after college timings. There are many committees, dance clubs, music clubs, and theatre/singing clubs we can participate in and enjoy. Bits and Bytes is a committee it's only for the IT and CS departments where a group of students create their games. There is no hostel in this college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
