I was pretty impressed with the past year's placement rates and college reputation in the engineering sector. I had gone there through the MHTCET quota and no interviews were taken, the process was easy if you got the college in the MHTCET quota. Cutoff for the branches like CS IT is quit higher, almost 94 - 96 percentile in MHTCET. Preparation of MHTCET can be done through online or by any offline institute.
I choose this IT because of my interest in the IT sector and the upcoming demand of the IT industry. Many people told me to go for CS IT for a good job and that is incorrect too, many companies that come for placements they only select students from CS and IT. The teaching curriculum is pretty decent and normal, every semester we have to complete 6 units, and teachers use the ppt and explanation method. They turn on the ppt on the board and then explain the units from there. For some students it's ok but for me, it was pretty boring. Teachers are highly qualified in terms of qualification, some have Ph. D.s in subjects and some have M-tech. In one semester there are two exams conducted, one is insem and one is endsem. The difficulty level is very decent and papers are not difficult if you just study the subject well before 10 or 12 days of exams. I enrolled at this college with an OBC scholarship quota, which reduced my tuition fee to 50% and now I am paying 102000.
Many companies came for internships in college after 1st semester of 3rd year including Nvidia, Infosys, BlackRock, Colgate, Morgan Stanley, Bajaj Finance etc... The stipend varies by company, it can start from 10k to 90k for a few.
The placement culture is good in the college, when you just passed the first semester of 3rd year then you'll start seeing companies come for internships for your batch. Internships can be converted into pre-placement offers based on your performance and company vacancy. There are no such strict criteria for placement, but most companies only prefer a CGPA of more than 8 or more is good, no live or dead backlogs, and unplaced students. Some of the companies that visited campus are Infosys, Nvidia, BlackRock, Colgate, Morgan Stanley, etc... The average package: is 5- 7 lpa. Highest package: 42 lpa(Nvidia) But keep in mind that these are just normal packages and only for students who are placed.
Campus Life is pretty good here, the main fest that is conducted here is the Gandhrva VIIT, that is mostly conducted in February or March. This event is the flagship event of the college, and this has multiple days like Bollywood Day, Retro Day, Traditional Day etc... In the college, there are multiple clubs for students to work in their extracurriculars, as I served two clubs with the vice president and domain head positions. A lot to learn there. For hostel purposes, you have to see outside of the college, because the college does not have its hostel. One hostel is a typo with college but I will suggest you search for any PG or private hostel near the college. There are many options for food, as many messes are there around college and hostel area. The sports culture is not so good in college but you still get some good chances to play some sports like cricket, football, and basketball.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown, people are more focused on mental health, thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
Student must pass all the Sem for the placement or college is new thats why there was no records about placement, My after the degree to be a indie game developer and build an aweosom game with the help of C++
