Yeah, I opted for the internship in the second year of my diploma. It was a great experience to do with such professionals. In the internship we worked on a robotic model we got to know about artificial intelligence and Machine learning through this internship. But we have to do an internship because our college doesn't provide us internship.
In government polytechnic Pune there are no placements. The college should work on it cause many more students wants jobs after completing their diploma but our college doesn't allow placements. We hope the college head will work on it in future.
My campus life is full of joy and learning. In government polytechnic Pune they conduct various festivals like sports, exhibitions, annual gatherings and many more. All the faculties also take part and give proper attention towards students.
The hostel is too dirty and boring if you are thinking about this college and if you get admission to this college you should go for PGS or any other private hostel. This hostel isn't worth it. The hostel is too boring.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
