The admission process is really good as they look at the marks u scored in class 12th, and they see if the student is fit or not for the physical education course. After that, they see the document of the students if they belong to the Sikkim state or not as for the fee structure for every individual, and after that, they take out and separate students for the particular course which they are capable of.
I am a state-level cricketer so I was not interested in studying college, but one of my family members suggested this course of physical education where I have to study only about sports and the human body so I selected the college near me and bahadur collage was the only with the physical education courses... The teachers are very good and friendly in this college except for some. They teach us in every way possible to get students to understand the chapters. The cost to study is very low as it is a government college... Scholarships are given by the state government and the central government to the students, But not all students get the scholarships.
No, I haven't opted for the hostel, as my home was nearby, I lived near the city market so there was no reason for the hostel, I came to collage from home, and I was wondering about staying in college but my family denied it.
There are jo placements available. After completion of my course, I will go for further study in physical education but before that, I will try for Sikkim police.. if not in the police then I will go for physiotherapist, where I can train sportspersons with their physical health and guide them.
Life at Capurs is very relaxing as it is located between nature, trees all around, good people all around etc, it gives students good vibes... There will be a college fest in July every year where all departments compete with each other in various curricular activities like dance, singing, debates, football, cricket, volleyball etc... There are clubs run by the students which are called the rotary clubs and environmental clubs.
Hostel food is good, they provide rice, chapatis, bread, chicken, mutton, and fish. The hostel can be applied from the college office itself. Hostel fees can be known by talking to the office staff in the college, Pg's are also available in and around the college
Placements and job opportunities are given to students after their completion of internship some may get the opportunity in between their internship, like recently our department seniors were gone for their internship and they are receiving amount of stipend in their internship at around 7000 rupees which was good thing for them
Curriculum is far well balanced having skill subject's let you have knowledge in other fields like as an medical you can be able to choose hospitality management such as bakery to gain knowledge in baking and the faculties are really supportive and overall academics are good
Recently Our senior's got placement at highly companies in banglore they were from MBA n BBA...our college had tied with many companies n by which many of us r getting employed n it's skill university offcourse we r trained to do something n to perform critical thinking by which we r ready to dive.
The placements are not highlighted as most students apply for jobs in a wide range of off-campus sites. My plans after getting the degree is to clear NET and continue with my education as a PhD scholar.
No guarantees . There is no placement guarantee in our college if you pass you pass their is no guarantee that you'll get a job after the college i have seen my seniors driving taxi after college and I'm afraid
Although the college claims 100 percent placements. I have seen my seniors running and applying for job interviews here and there. However i feel only 50- 60 percent gets placed by the college campus interview. But also there are many opportunities outside the college so one doesn't have to worry for placements.
Yes we do have internship program. If you do diploma you will get one OJT that can vary upon the field of your interest such such you want to move to another location or not And if you are not diploma then you get one OJT plus last 9 months of internship then placement.
job and placements are on average side and if we look at roi of the college then i would say it cannot your first priority but the situations are changing and placement are getting better over the years.
Their is no placement after the completion of course we have to apply to any school by ourselves whenever the govt provide interview for the teacher we can apply in that we have to faced interview to get this job
As this college do not provide placement but you will get the idea what to do next as college conduct different programs where we get the idea of what we can go for after completing our cources ..the job according to your cources
So the University doesn't have any sort of Placement Cell however the student body has assured that they will make it work and resume it soon. But as of now not having Placement benefit is a disadvantage. However, if you're good enough to crack NET exams and some other entrances than even some of the private universities can take us into consideration. I'm planning to crack NET and continue with PhD if I get a chance otherwise I'll have to crack good amount of entrances.
