- Infrastructure. I do not like the infrastructure of my college.
- Social events, there is no conduct of any social events except the competitions which could enhance the personality of the students
Remarks :
A Group Discussion was held with family members and friends regarding a law college with such an integrated course as BBA LLB and ICFAI UNIVERSITY DEHRADUN was shortlisted as the one I am in. The good aspect of the college is that it focuses on the academics of the students a lot, it also upholds national law competitions which are very productive for the development and understanding of the future lawyers. A bad aspect of my college I would like to mention is that no fest or any such social events have been organized at a great level where students can interact and enhance their communication skills, the number of co-curricular activities is also not great as compared to other law colleges. The admission process includes your CLAT score, or other law exams you have taken, another way is shortlisting the college yourself, also with the 12th percentage you are awarded a scholarship up to graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the college as it focuses on the academics of the students. The faculties are well qualified and the teaching method is remarkable. The exams are held according to the schedule provided before the start of the semester and the difficulty level is moderate. The fee structure per semester in the field of law is 65k but it decreases after the scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
The college does provide for internships. This summer I worked under the best criminal advocate in my city and gained a lot of experience and learned the great quality of ground-level work. I would likely suggest pupils apply from the placement cell for the great intership.
Placement Experience :
The students must maintain a good academic for the placement. The average package is 5-6 lpa and the highest was 12 lpa last year offered by the recruiters, in campus placement. There is a good number of students who intend to sit in the placement and the majority get the same. I intend to go for judicial service after the degree.
Campus Life :
Honestly, no fest has been conducted since I was admitted admission in the college. The availability of books and journals in the library is there, no doubt that the college is focusing on providing all the amenities for proper education to its students. The sports and extracurricular activities do take place but are not much in focus. There is no such website which is run by students or any student organization in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a hostel and the food quality is splendid. The registration of the hostel is done in the college later the hostels are shown. Also, the affordability depends on the financial chart of the students.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
